A letter to the Elder

Dear Elder,

I get it... I really do. Time is up for your kind. You are all alone, at least you feel that way. What we feel can usually define who we are today... et cetera, et cetera. Man, who cares? Who really does? Keep in mind, life is not easy, life is terribly difficult. If it gives you any satisfaction to hear also note that people will always be the same, even those in their prime.

Slowly, we are fading into the history books.

You must first find your happiness within yourself before you start rejecting the cruel world for your twisted fate. This is of course if your goal is to no longer be alone, to live. I mean, you are probably crazier than a peach at this moment writing to the darkness, talking to the shadows, living in complete denial of the zero progression you have sewn into your heart to move forwards. So I say again, who cares? Get out of that dungeon in your head and look outside. I am sure the first sight will be the fresh air and pleasant nature of life. Live Elder! Use every muscle you have inside of you, rip apart these subconscious walls and be free. Smile and be happy. Cry and be sad. Breathe in that fresh air and be mad. The time of day has no affect on the beat of your heart or the swagger in your stroll. Walk to freedom and bring happiness to us all! Balance comes from within as an impossible task. The only person who feels they are truly alone is the one who dares not question or ask.

We are all slowly withering away.

So Elder, my dear, dear Elder, be happy and proud about the life you live. You have the chance to choose to continue your life in dreary contempt or eternal satisfaction. Illuminate the skies with your eyes of wisdom.

Choose your path, walk your path, do not look back.

Sincerely,

Ancient History
