Please Walk Away

I would be the one,

To hold you down,

Please walk away,

And close your eyes.

Tears will drop from my face,

Because I stumble so many times in this world,

To find this heart,

Face-to-face.

My body aches,

Because you keep me alive,

And for that I'll take your breath away.

So close your eyes,

And feel the sunrise,

I know I am not the right one for you,

And that this is not the right time,

But you can't help what you feel.

And so I digress,

I can't control my feelings,

But I can make them control you,

I will be the one to be with you.

So please,

Walk away,

And leave me to my river of tears,

Just close your eyes.
